Yeah. We're full of ourselves like that, me and my blog. We also almost ate both of those layer cakes, entirely by ourselves. Okay, so maybe not. But we could have! If you sing, maybe you can have a slice too ;-)

You GUYS - ahem, GIRLS!;-) My ears are all read, from the singing and the congrats and nice words! THANK YOU! I hope you'll all still be here for the next year (and more) too!

Re. the cakes - they are pretty standard layer cakes, as we do them here in DK - a sponge-sorta cake in three layers, with creme patisserie (sp?) and for these, ahem... frozen strawberries?! between the layers of cake. That's the way my little sister wants them, so that's the way she gets them. These are actually ones I made for her birthday this January - it just seemed so appropriate to use the pictures for this occasion! I have all sorts of food coloring, so I love whipping them out for these type of cakes and go all the way in the decorating - and the girls in her class love it, although not as much as I do... I think!;-)
